What is Quizmaster?
We have now
finished QuizMaster, a new multi-media presentation program for Acorn
computers. These pages, intended to support QuizMaster, are just under
construction.
Brief details follow, and you may read through the HTML version of the user guide to get an idea of how the program operates.
QuizMaster is intended for the creation and presentation of multiple-choice quizzes, for the testing of knowledge of National Curriculum topics in an entertaining fashion. Using the QuizMaker editor, you may compile question and answer lists, complete with sounds and graphics. Alternatively, you may use !Edit for creating the quiz script - do have a look at this section in the following pages to see how easy it is.
The program may also be used for a variety of other purposes, ranging
from simple slide-show presentations, to the creation of memory training
exercises, cognitive assessment - all sorts of things!
The
main picture, above, shows the QuizMaster studio, complete with silly
contestants, as used in the two player game. There is also a format with
just a plain backdrop, and the program may by set for just one player,
or two contestants competing against each other and the clock.
